Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, societal shifts, and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and future scenario models for board-level decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley innovation lab
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and competitive disruption vectors
- Build and mentor a cross-functional team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and at global forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing enterprise-level innovation strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with futures methodologies: Delphi, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from trend analysis to commercialized innovations
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
