Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough technologies and business models
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and board of directors quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and drive innovation culture across 12 global offices
- Manage $2M annual innovation portfolio for high-impact pilot projects
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex concepts
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFS) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
