- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track technology adoption curves
- Represent the company at Davos, Web Summit, and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Experience with Delphi method, causal layered analysis, and backcasting
- Track record influencing C-suite decisions with scenario-based recommendations
- Portfolio of 3+ major strategic foresight projects with measurable impact
- Fluency in futures forecasting software (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palisade DecisionTools)
