Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends and disruptive innovations
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to anticipate market shifts and technological disruptions
- Present futuristic insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate foresight into product development cycles
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer next-generation solutions
- Author thought leadership content on future trends and strategic implications
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation and long-term thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into successful business initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking abilities with data-driven decision making
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or strategic foresight (journal articles, books, keynotes)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
