Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting global markets through 2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and trend analysis for the 2026 timeframe
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align future-proof strategies with organizational vision and KPIs
- Produce executive-level reports and presentations on disruptive innovations and their business implications
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums on future trends
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical tools
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their socioeconomic impacts
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decision-making
- Published thought leadership or patents in innovation, technology, or futures-related domains
