Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology and market foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to anticipate disruption in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings with data-driven risk/reward analyses
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies for emerging threats/opportunities
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders including investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning tools
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AGI, quantum computing, neurotech
- Experience leading cross-functional strategy teams in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
