Responsibilities
- Develop and validate 3-year predictive models for quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation markets
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to prepare for 2026 disruption vectors
- Author annual FutureScape reports with 95%+ accuracy benchmarked against MIT Tech Review
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance in regulated sectors
- Manage $500K innovation lab budget for prototyping emergent technologies
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's patented Horizon Scanning methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Published author in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier publication
- Expertise in Delphi methodology, SWOT 2.0, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Proficiency in Python/R for predictive modeling and Tableau for trend visualization
- Certification in Foresight Practitioner (CFP) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 market-disrupting predictions implemented by clients
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
