This role requires synthesizing complex data into strategic roadmaps while navigating ethical implications of tomorrow's breakthroughs.
You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, startup incubators, and global policy think tanks to develop frameworks that ensure technological advancement aligns with human flourishing. Our Austin headquarters features a state-of-the-art Future Simulation Lab where you'll prototype solutions for challenges humanity will face in the 2030s.
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 technological adoption curves using machine learning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovations in AI ethics, climate tech, and space commercialization
- Author white papers and policy briefs for G20 summits on governance frameworks for exponential technologies
- Manage $5M innovation fund for pilot projects targeting 2026 sustainability targets
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Present findings at World Economic Forum and UN Technology Summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of forecasting tech disruptions with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published author in Future Studies Journal or equivalent tier publication
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on 5-10 year strategic planning
- Proficiency in Futurescape mapping tools and Monte Carlo simulation methodologies
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred for global engagement
