Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year technology roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven scenario planning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to pilot emerging technologies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports published in industry journals and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record translating technological trends into enterprise-level strategy (AI, Web3, or biotech focus preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (journal articles, white papers)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Cassandra, Scenarios, Trendalyzer) and data visualization platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations in Fortune 500 environments
