Job Description
We are building the cognitive future. Nexus Core Systems is seeking a visionary Senior Neural Interface Engineer to architect the next generation of seamless human-computer symbiosis. We are targeting a launch in 2026 that will redefine the boundaries of human potential.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex biological signals and digital processing, ensuring ultra-low latency and high-bandwidth data transfer. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, collaborating with top-tier neuroscientists, hardware engineers, and UX designers to create intuitive feedback loops.
If you are passionate about the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and hardware, and want to lead the charge in next-gen connectivity, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) protocols designed for low-latency, high-bandwidth communication.
- Develop advanced signal processing algorithms to filter neural noise and enhance signal-to-noise ratio for clearer data interpretation.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to translate neural data into actionable, user-friendly visual and haptic feedback.
- Ensure rigorous safety and reliability testing across all neural interface prototypes before deployment.
- Lead research initiatives into non-invasive sensory augmentation and memory enhancement technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the cognitive research division.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree (PhD or Masterβs) in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) applied to time-series data.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for high-performance computing and embedded systems development.
- Signal Processing experience, specifically with EEG, fMRI, or similar biological signal data.
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, statistics, and stochastic processes.
- Passion for the future of human augmentation and a strong understanding of the ethical implications of BCI technology.
