Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of venue readiness programs for the 2026 World Cup.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including construction, security, hospitality, and IT departments.
- Oversee multi-million dollar budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and financial accountability.
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder meetings and provide real-time operational updates.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle to ensure zero disruptions.
- Coordinate with international vendors and local authorities to comply with global standards.
- Develop comprehensive training programs for venue staff and volunteers.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale construction or sports event environments.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing budgets over $5M.
- Strong knowledge of FIFA World Cup operations and legacy planning is a major plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-suite executives.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Willingness to travel as required for site inspections and stakeholder engagement.
