Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum neural network algorithms for near-term quantum processors.
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate quantum mechanics principles into scalable software architectures.
- Conduct benchmarking experiments to measure quantum advantage in machine learning tasks.
- Lead the migration of classical deep learning models to hybrid quantum-classical environments.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the open-source quantum community.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging quantum hardware and software frameworks.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Machine Learning.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with Python, C++, or Rust.
- Deep understanding of quantum computing concepts (qubits, superposition, entanglement) and quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE).
- Strong proficiency in classical machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their quantum extensions (Qiskit, Cirq).
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI or Physics conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, APS).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
