Responsibilities
- Lead High-Impact Research: Spearhead the development of novel quantum algorithms designed for complex problem-solving in logistics, cryptography, and AI optimization.
- Prototype & Deploy: Design and implement scalable quantum prototypes using cloud-based quantum processors (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti) and on-premise hardware.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our AI Ethics Board and Systems Engineering teams to ensure quantum integration is secure, efficient, and aligned with future regulations.
- Publication & Thought Leadership: Author high-impact white papers and research papers for leading scientific journals to establish Nebula Labs as a market leader.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of junior researchers and PhD candidates, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Future-Proofing: Analyze emerging trends in quantum computing to anticipate hardware advancements and adapt our software architecture accordingly.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in research and development, with a proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences (e.g., Quantum Science and Technology, Nature Physics).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Q# with deep knowledge of quantum computing libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to translate theoretical physics concepts into practical, deployable software solutions.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
