Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to debug quantum circuits and improve error correction protocols.
- Migrate classical algorithms to the quantum domain, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Conduct research into quantum error mitigation and noise reduction techniques.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices.
- Document technical specifications and contribute to open-source quantum computing libraries.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Microsoft Q#.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or CUDA for classical pre/post-processing.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket, or Azure Quantum).
