Responsibilities
- Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for machine learning, optimization, and simulation tasks.
- System Architecture: Design the software stack for quantum-classical hybrid systems.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze and improve the efficiency of quantum circuits to reduce error rates and execution time.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with new quantum processors.
- Research: Publish papers and contribute to the open-source quantum computing community.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Tools: Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks.
- Programming: Strong expertise in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics principles.
