Job Description

Join the Architects of the Future. Horizon Dynamics is pioneering the next generation of computational intelligence. We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Systems Architect to lead our 2026 roadmap, bridging the gap between theoretical quantum mechanics and scalable, real-world applications. If you are driven by the challenge of building systems that will define the technological landscape of the next decade, this is your opportunity.

Why Horizon?
We are a forward-thinking technology firm operating at the bleeding edge of AI and quantum integration. Our mission is to solve humanity's most complex problems by leveraging quantum supremacy. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the autonomy to shape our technological trajectory.

What You'll Do:

  • Architect Future Systems: Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms and hardware-software interfaces for our flagship 2026 quantum computing platforms.
  • Lead Technical Vision: Define the architectural standards for quantum integration within our broader AI ecosystem.
  • Research & Development: Collaborate with theoretical physicists and machine learning engineers to push the boundaries of qubit coherence and error correction.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior architects and quantum engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
  • Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes of quantum modules to validate theoretical models and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing, superconducting qubits, or photonic quantum systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Qiskit or similar quantum programming frameworks.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary problems involving high-dimensional data spaces.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end quantum system architectures.
  • Oversee the integration of quantum processors with classical AI models.
  • Drive research initiatives into error mitigation and fault tolerance.
  • Conduct code reviews and technical architecture reviews for the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and AI research.

Qualifications

  • PhD or Master’s in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Strong background in Python, C++, and quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Google Quantum AI).
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex projects.
