What You'll Do:
- Architect Future Systems: Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms and hardware-software interfaces for our flagship 2026 quantum computing platforms.
- Lead Technical Vision: Define the architectural standards for quantum integration within our broader AI ecosystem.
- Research & Development: Collaborate with theoretical physicists and machine learning engineers to push the boundaries of qubit coherence and error correction.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior architects and quantum engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes of quantum modules to validate theoretical models and demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing, superconducting qubits, or photonic quantum systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Qiskit or similar quantum programming frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary problems involving high-dimensional data spaces.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end quantum system architectures.
- Oversee the integration of quantum processors with classical AI models.
- Drive research initiatives into error mitigation and fault tolerance.
- Conduct code reviews and technical architecture reviews for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and AI research.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Strong background in Python, C++, and quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Google Quantum AI).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex projects.
