Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography applications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software for specific quantum processor topologies.
- Design fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols to ensure system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers on quantum software development best practices.
- Translate complex physics concepts into efficient, production-ready software code.
- Drive the technical vision for the 2026 roadmap, identifying emerging quantum technologies.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on algorithms and data structures.
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA programming.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for quantum services.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between theoretical physics and engineering.
