Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market disruptions, and scientific breakthroughs to forecast 2026+ industry shifts
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into organizational strategy
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for stakeholders
- Identify and build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum Computing, Biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies required
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major conferences
- Strong data modeling and scenario-planning methodology expertise
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight preferred
