Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Vision: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business goals, focusing on scalability, security, and AI integration.
- Architectural Strategy: Oversee the transition to future-proof infrastructure, ensuring seamless migration to next-gen cloud environments and edge computing solutions.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Conduct rigorous research and evaluation of emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing readiness) to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical strategies into clear business value propositions for C-level executives and board members.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring senior engineering leads and driving professional development programs.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize operational workflows and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize technical debt.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or IT management, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership or CTO-like capacity.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to anticipate technological shifts and translate them into actionable business strategies for the 2026 timeframe.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and enterprise-level system design.
- AI & Automation: Strong background in integrating Artificial Intelligence and automation tools into legacy and modern systems.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
