Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with government bodies on regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Build and mentor high-performing innovation teams across engineering/design disciplines
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Translate complex technical concepts into stakeholder-communicable strategies
- Drive sustainable tech integration with ESG compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with proven experience in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or bio-integrated systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on future tech
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-relevant projects (e.g., AR/VR ecosystems, climate tech)
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on technological forecasting
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from federal/private sources
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFOR) or equivalent
