Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable LLM Systems: Design and implement robust, production-ready Generative AI pipelines focusing on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and fine-tuning strategies.
- Pioneering Research: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge research into practical, high-performance applications.
- Model Optimization: Drive the optimization of model inference speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency for large-scale deployments.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, code excellence, and ethical AI development.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the integration of AI models into our MLOps infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with a specific focus on Generative AI and NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of Hugging Face Transformers and LangChain.
- Modeling: Proven experience in fine-tuning large models (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, BERT) and knowledge distillation techniques.
- Deployment: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
