Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, prioritizing emerging trends like quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and healthcare accessibility
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of next-gen technologies (AI, biotech, spatial computing)
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders on technology implications for market disruption and regulatory landscapes
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups specializing in 2026-viable innovations
- Oversee ethical frameworks for emerging technologies, focusing on privacy, bias mitigation, and accessibility
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact in scaling tech ventures
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotech integration
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Track record of launching at least one market-defining tech product/service
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, think tanks)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Enterprise Architecture preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
