Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead scenario planning for global megatrends impacting business models by 2026
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing into strategic decision frameworks
- Establish Horizon's thought leadership through whitepapers and industry keynotes
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile futures methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Analyze emerging regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of 2026 technologies
- Drive innovation portfolio allocation with 3-5 year horizon planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or industry disruption
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
