This role sits at the intersection of emerging tech, behavioral economics, and sustainable design, transforming abstract future concepts into scalable business solutions. You'll collaborate with quantum computing teams, neuro-interfaces researchers, and climate AI specialists to pioneer human-centric innovations that redefine industries.
What you'll achieve: Lead cross-disciplinary initiatives to prototype 2026-ready solutions, secure $5M+ in innovation grants, and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals. Our team has already launched 3 breakthrough technologies this year – now we need your strategic foresight to accelerate our roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead $5M+ R&D portfolios for climate-positive technologies and human augmentation systems
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University to develop patent-pending future-proofing frameworks
- Design ethical AI governance protocols for autonomous systems and neuro-digital interfaces
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and government innovation councils quarterly
- Mentor a 15-person cross-functional team of futurists, engineers, and behavioral scientists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation with 3+ years in futurism or emerging tech forecasting
- Published white papers on 2026 technology trends (peer-reviewed journals preferred)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/VC funding for speculative R&D
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology mastery
- Track record of launching products with 10-year future-proofing strategies
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
