Responsibilities
- Architect 2026-focused innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing prototype technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, synthetic biology, quantum cryptography) for strategic implementation
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and other future-focused institutions
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in sustainable energy and human augmentation
- Present disruptive technology frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor next-generation engineers in exponential thinking and ethical innovation practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futurist Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of scaling exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech) to commercial viability
- Published research in Nature/Science on future technology convergence (2018-2023)
- Expertise in scenario planning for technological singularity and post-human paradigms
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and genetic engineering
- Experience securing $50M+ in future-tech venture capital or government grants
