- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing products and services
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots and long-term positioning
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to embed foresight into product development
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Design and implement innovation methodologies for 2026 market readiness
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future market disruptions
- Develop patentable concepts and intellectual property portfolios
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept to prototype validation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven trend modeling experience
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Portfolio of published trend reports or innovation frameworks
