Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI ethics, biotech convergence, quantum computing, climate resilience) to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Author high-impact trend reports and innovation frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and scout disruptive startups
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into commercial strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, neurotech, fusion energy)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presence
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFS) strongly preferred
