As a key member of our Global Futures Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and venture capitalists to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities. Your work will directly influence product development, investment strategies, and market positioning in exponential growth sectors including AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish forward-looking trend reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops using design thinking and scenario planning
- Build and maintain relationships with academic research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging technologies through data-driven forecasting models
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing organizational capabilities and talent strategies
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven expertise in trend forecasting with published thought leadership (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Mastery of futures research methodologies including Delphi technique, STEEP analysis, and system dynamics modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies or government agencies on long-term innovation strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFS) highly desirable
