Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 innovation roadmap across AI, biotech, and renewable energy domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-year impact horizons
- Partner with Stanford and MIT researchers to forecast technological disruptions
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI and neurointerfaces
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-backed future scenarios
- Mentor futurist apprentices in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Secure $10M+ R&D funding through grant proposals and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Published work in futures studies, technology forecasting, or innovation strategy
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record scaling technologies from lab to market (>$50M impact)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools like Trend Hunter or Gartner Magic Quadrants
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital for moonshots
- Certification in ethical AI frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
