Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting our industry through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework with quarterly trend briefings
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for future uncertainties
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D organizations
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with compelling visual storytelling
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures research methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with advanced visualization capabilities
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
- Experience working with Fortune 500 executives on C-suite strategic initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
