Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, societal, and market trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps for long-term competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product/service opportunities
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous strategic initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers, books)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
