Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and sustainability sectors
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using predictive modeling and foresight methodologies
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as the 2026 innovation authority
- Manage cross-functional teams of data scientists, anthropologists, and industry specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate engineering
- Strong command of foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or equivalent professional accreditation
