Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future disruption scenarios
- Create comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate futuristic concepts into product development pipelines
- Develop thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning the company as a future-shaping authority
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnerships for future-proofing initiatives
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through predictive modeling and data-driven analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic foresight projects with measurable impact
