Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Develop 2026 strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author predictive reports on climate-tech convergence and digital sovereignty
- Manage a $5M R&D portfolio for prototyping future-proof solutions
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and systems thinking
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Published research on at least two exponential technologies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with AI-driven trend forecasting tools
- Track record of influencing C-suite decisions
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging tech
