- Partner with C-suite to future-proof our product ecosystem
- Build thought leadership through whitepapers and industry keynotes
- Drive innovation sprints with R&D and engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Produce annual '2026 Technology Horizon' report with actionable forecasts
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with global stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Prototyping' initiatives from concept to MVP
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technological adoption
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and premier future-tech conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI/ML, synthetic biology, or quantum computing domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certificate in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep network of relationships with global tech pioneers
