Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with transformative potential (2024-2026)
- Develop evidence-based foresight frameworks and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive models for board presentations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists to build next-generation strategic capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
