Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends, technologies, and societal shifts through 2026+ using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership for stakeholder alignment
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptors with predictive modeling
- Advise leadership on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, space economy)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with predictive analytics and horizon scanning tools
