Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation pipelines and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state scenarios
- Author thought leadership content including whitepapers, keynote speeches, and executive briefings
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and economic indicators affecting future technology adoption
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Outstanding presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
