Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and market disruptors to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems and service innovations
- Author visionary whitepapers and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate next-generation startups
- Represent the company at global tech summits and futurist conferences
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies
- Quantify future market opportunities and build ROI models for strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Innovation (e.g., CFTR, CFI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published author in technology strategy or futurism publications
- Fluency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
