Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and industry disruption patterns
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurointerfaces, synthetic biology) with strategic relevance
- Architect cross-functional innovation frameworks integrating AI, blockchain, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investor communities with data-driven conviction
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist research team to track technological singularity indicators
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate future-state visions into actionable product development priorities and KPIs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on enterprise-scale digital transformation
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and disruption modeling frameworks
- Deep technical understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
- Portfolio showcasing at least three major technological foresight initiatives delivered
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP) or equivalent
