Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with market forecasts and corporate objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation governance frameworks balancing ethical considerations and exponential growth
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members, securing $10M+ annual innovation budget
- Mentor a diverse team of futurists, engineers, and product strategists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven 2020s disruption track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of launched innovations generating $50M+ revenue or equivalent market impact
- Deep familiarity with ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFIP, CPSMP)
