Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead moonshot project incubation from concept to MVP, securing $10M+ in strategic funding
- Develop future-vision frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor a high-performing innovation lab of 15+ specialists
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies (target: 50+ filings by 2026)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or futurism leadership within tech or Fortune 500
- Proven track record of scaling moonshot projects to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Sloan
- Experience securing Series C+ funding for disruptive ventures
- Fluency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, backcasting
