Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in optimization and machine learning
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing frameworks
- Conduct research on quantum hardware limitations and propose innovative mitigation strategies
- Create quantum simulation environments for testing and validation of novel approaches
- Author technical documentation and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, information theory, and cryptography
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research papers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing services
