Responsibilities
- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technology inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, data scientists) through agile development cycles
- Identify and validate emerging tech opportunities through market research and trend analysis
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks and product concepts to C-suite and venture partners
- Manage innovation lab budgets and resource allocation for prototyping initiatives
- Develop intellectual property portfolios through patent applications and trade secrets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation/product development with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record launching commercialized products using exponential technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Fluency in innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate, Lean Startup) and emerging tech assessment
- Experience securing Series A+ funding for experimental projects
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation management
