Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement 2026-era innovation roadmaps
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) into commercial applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate global trends and disruptive forces
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with business objectives
- Secure $10M+ in funding/grants for experimental projects
- Develop intellectual property portfolio with 50+ patent applications
- Present vision to stakeholders at global forums (Davos, TED, CES)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D or innovation leadership with portfolio of launched products
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technology field (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to $100M+ revenue
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in 3+ languages with international experience
