Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with market trends and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI, Quantum, Biotech) to prototype and launch next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite to embed innovation into corporate strategy and resource allocation
- Present future scenarios to investors, clients, and board members to secure buy-in
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused portfolio management
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking and technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures planning
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in Foresight, Innovation Management, or Technology Strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams and budgets >$3M
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
