Responsibilities
- Architect hybrid quantum-AI systems for 2026-scale computational challenges
- Design fault-tolerant quantum neural networks using 500+ qubit processors
- Develop real-time quantum optimization algorithms for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of quantum physicists and ML engineers
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Patent quantum-AI breakthrough technologies with 95+ success rate
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Physics from top 10 institution
- 5+ years experience with quantum annealing (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in neuromorphic computing (Loihi, SpiNNaker)
- Track record of securing $1M+ government research grants
- Fluency in tensor network simulations and quantum circuit optimization
