Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-neural hybrid architectures for 2026-scale data processing
- Lead 15-member research team across quantum physics, ML engineering, and domain specialization
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-AI systems at 99.99% fidelity
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Author whitepapers on quantum machine learning benchmarks for industry adoption
- Interface with C-suite clients to translate research into commercial quantum solutions
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum-AI frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent 10+ years)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error correction algorithms
- Proven track record leading $2M+ R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Experience securing government/industry research grants
