Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for 2026-era quantum processors with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum encryption standards
- Author technical whitepapers defining quantum computing roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Q#, IBM Q Experience)
- Proven track record of leading technical quantum initiatives
- Strong grasp of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC project)
