Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing trials using our 128-qubit processor network
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Document research findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction methodologies
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex mathematical modeling
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
